The Champagne Dinner
Indulge in the luxury of fine French Champagne. Manresa and The French Cellar of Los Gatos, purveyors of regional French wines, present The Champagne Dinner on Tuesday, November 6. David Kinch will prepare a Champagne-inspired five-course dinner while Jay Druian and Sallie Robbins-Druian will select Champagne in a variety of styles, from smaller family producers to the larger Champagne houses of this extraordinary region of France. Christmas Eve at Manresa
Join family and friends for a festive Christmas Eve at Manresa on Sunday, December 24. David Kinch will prepare a memorable five-course holiday dinner. Wine pairing with each course available. Open seating from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. $125 per person, exclusive of beverages, tax and gratuity.
Seeing Stars
Manresa is the proud recipient of two Michelin stars in the newly released Michelin Guide San Francisco Bay Area & Wine Country 2007. "This is a tremendous honor,'' said David Kinch. "In 30 years of working in restaurants, Michelin has always been my bible when traveling. To be in it is a big deal because it's read and respected worldwide.'' Manresa is among only four restaurants in the Bay Area to receive two Michelin stars while The French Laundry is the only Bay Area restaurant to win three stars.
Weeks prior to the Michelin announcement, Manresa was named one of "America's Top 50 Restaurants," as chosen by Ruth Reichl and the editors of Gourmet magazine in their October 2006 issue.
