Chef David Kinch received an honorary doctorate of culinary arts from
his alma mater, Johnson & Wales during commencement in May from the
University’s Hospitality College and College of Culinary Arts. Located
in Providence, Rhode Island, the campus awarded more than 2,000 degrees
and more than 3,000 degrees university-wide over the weekend.
Cocktails at Manresa follow the same philosophy as David Kinch’s cuisine: the highest quality ingredients—local, classic and international. Manresa’s cocktails change with the seasons and interpretations of classic cocktails are always offered and encouraged. The cocktail lounge opens at 5:15 p.m., Wednesday–Sunday.
