David Kinch announces his first casual bar and eatery—opening The Bywater this fall just down the street from Manresa in Los Gatos! Inspired by and named for The Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans, the casual restaurant pays homage to the city where Chef Kinch grew up and fell in love with cooking. Expect a drinks menu that’s simple and authentic to New Orleans featuring cocktails like the Sazerac, Gin Fizz, and Milk Punch. Dishes are classic French and New Orleans-inspired mixed with southern staples like fried green tomatoes and po’boys reimaged with ingredients from Northern California.
