Congratulations Manresa!


Congratulations to the Manresa team for being recognized by the Michelin Guide for the seventh consecutive year, earning two Michelin stars. This designation denotes “excellent cuisine, skillfully and carefully crafted dishes of outstanding quality” and Manresa is one of six San Francisco Bay Area restaurants to receive this honor. We thank all of our guests for joining us at a very special winemaker dinner on October 29 featuring Argentina’s Rutini Wines and David Kinch’s longtime friend and two-Michelin star Chef Mauro Colagreco. While the Argentina-born Colagreco is chef/owner of Le Mirazur restaurant in France, he is also the Chef Ambassador for Rutini Wines, one of the country’s most celebrated wineries. Chef Colagreco’s Mirazur is ranked 24 on the San Pellegrino and Restaurant magazine’s “World’s Best Restaurant” list. We were thrilled to have him cook with us for one special night!

Louis XV Celebrates 25 Years


From November 16 through November 18, Manresa and David Kinch are honored to be invited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Alain Ducasse’s Louis XV restaurant. Kinch is one of 240 chefs from 25 countries, representing five continents and 300 stars from the Michelin Guide for an unprecedented occasion in Monte-Carlo. The celebratory weekend includes a number of special events, educational experiences and a gala dinner on Saturday night. Follow all of the festivities by clicking here.

Manresa Holiday Dinners


Celebrate the holidays with Manresa this season and make your reservations for our special Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve dinners. On Monday, December 24, enjoy a five-course menu including a cheese and dessert course for $175 per person. Wine and Beverage Director Jeff Bareilles will offer a premium wine pairing for $175 and classic wine pairing for $125. Toast the New Year on Monday, December 31 with a multi-course menu for $225. • As we celebrate the start of 2013, the Manresa team closes its doors for a little holiday vacation on January 1. The restaurant will reopen on Wednesday, January 9.

"Fig Sour" Cocktail Recipe


Welcome the holidays with good cheer and Manresa's festive cocktail.

Manresa Fig Sour
1 Monstreuse de Lipar fig, quartered
1/4 ounce lemon juice
2 ounces Maker's Mark
1 dash Jerry Thomas’ Own Decanter Bitters from The Bitter Truth

• Quarter the fig and place in glass with lemon juice, muddle. Add in the Makers Mark and bitters. Fill your glass with ice and stir for 20-25 seconds. Fine strain into the glass of your choice and garnish with a fig wedge.
