David Kinch at Bernardus in Carmel Valley

You are invited to join David Kinch and Executive Chef Cal Stamenov of Bernardus Lodge for the Wine Enthusiast's Top 100 Dinner on Saturday, November 11. This unforgettable dinner is the highlight of Monterey Wine Country's 10th Annual Great Wine Escape Weekend.

Every year, Wine Enthusiast magazine publishes its prestigious “Top 100 Wines of The Year” list. Here is your opportunity to enjoy six wines that have received this ultimate accolade, married to the cutting-edge cuisine of Chef Cal Stamenov of Bernardus Lodge and Chef David Kinch of Manresa in Los Gatos. The vintages? Superb gems, many sold out and pulled from the vintners’ private libraries. The setting? The elegant Bernardus Lodge. The food? A five-course menu using ingredients from friends that run small organic farms, work as local foragers and day boat fisherman. This evening-to-remember will be hosted by Wine Enthusiast’s West Coast Editor Steve Heimoff.

Selected wines and winemakers:
Dean DeKorth – Bernardus Vineyards and Winery 2004 “Griva Vineyard” Sauvignon Blanc (90 Points)
