David Kinch is pleased to welcome chef René Redzepi of Noma in Copenhagen for two evenings of guest chef dinners at Manresa. The René Redzepi Dinners offer a rare opportunity to experience a taste of the new Nordic cuisine, and to meet the chef who is receiving international acclaim for helping to invent it.
"I think that René is easily one of the top young chefs in Europe. He sets a clear example of the new, contemporary cuisine for Europe in the 21st century," says David Kinch. "It's a great honor to have him here." Noma is the only restaurant in Denmark with two Michelin stars, and was recently elevated to the Top 10 of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list published by Restaurant magazine.
René Redzepi is responsible for interpreting Danish-Nordic cuisine and making Copenhagen one of the current international dining destinations. He cooked with Thomas Keller at The French Laundry for five months during the summer of 2000, after cooking at Le Jardin de Sens in France, and with Ferran Adriá at El Bulli in Spain. In late 2003, he opened Noma in a beautiful and minimally designed 250-year-old shipping warehouse on the scenic harbor of Copenhagen.
Join us for the René Redzepi Dinners on Saturday, July 12 and Sunday, July 13. Please note that space is limited and only a handful of reservations are available by calling Manresa at 408.354.4330. Open seating begins at 6:00 p.m. on both evenings and the dinners are $235 per person, exclusive of wine, tax, and gratuity. Two wine pairings selected by sommelier Jeff Bareilles will be available.
