David Kinch was invited to participate in the annual Omnivore Food Festival from February 22-23 in Deauville, France. The world's top chefs gave 25 demonstrations to an audience of more than 1,000 food professionals and enthusiasts. The event was divided into two parts, salé (savory) and sucré (sweet) and was open to the public. Omnivore organizes festivals of gastronomy from New York to Paris each year. This year David Kinch—only one of two American chefs presenting at Omnivore—was joined by a roster of international chefs including Albert Adrià, Quique Dacosta, and Alain Passard. Regular guests include Ferran Adrià, Michel Bras, Alain Ducasse, Pierre Gagnaire, Mark Veyrat, and Pierre Hermé.
